what do you do when the joke your boss makes
isn't funny to you at all?

not in the sense that it's distasteful
but it's more like the punchline is a hit and miss
and in your opinion, it obviously missed you,
since you're still staring intently at your boss,
waiting for him to tell you the funny part of the story.
