birds do it. bees do it.
even educated fleas do it.
let's do it...

Cold Cape Cod clams, 'gainst their wish, do it
Even lazy jellyfish, do it
Let's do it,

Let's fall in love

yesterday i was high and giggly, not because of anyone in particular really. but i was just enthralled by the beauty of the day, the easy conversations that came, the comfort around friends, a super delicious cup of mocha.

and i wanted to hop, skip, leap down the pathways of ubc, dancing with the tree that were equally aflame and alive. i wanted (for a very long time actually, since fall started) to jump into a pile of golden brown leaves.

but i caved into the rules of social decorum and kept my skip to a humble shuffle about myself so as not to scare fellow students at ubc.
still, i had a grin pasted on my face and my feet were light.

we're way too busy thinking about the things to come. i think we forget that the moment itself is beautiful and something to savour in itself.

Electric eels I might add do it
Though it shocks em I know
Why ask if shad do it - Waiter
bring me"shad roe"

In shallow shoals English soles do it
Goldfish in the privacy of bowls do it
Let's do it,
let's fall in love

with life!

lyrics from cole porter, let's do it.
