i know i'm really behind time and maybe the things i watch are probably now so passe
but i'm going to rant about them anyway even if it is old news for everyone else.
i finally watched "superman returns"
and i fail to see what was so incredible about it and i do not understand the rave reviews people gave it.
it was an okay movie. the kind you would give a B (mind you not even a B+ but a flat B).
i just didn't get it. lex luthor's sinister nefarious plot was to grow land? you can't even set up condominiums in that rocky sparse land of his. what was he going to do? live in a crystal chamber? and survive on what agriculture?
as my friend SP astutely puts it, his evil mastermind plan was founded on a principle of water displacement.
indeed, sheer evil genius.
and at the end of it all,
glen and i still can't differentiate between the superman and star wars theme songs. we keep mixing up the tunes as we go along

you'd give it a B?! i think its not even a B. ok, a B if we are talking about asthetic value, like superman getting suit torn off...THAT's worth a B. Is the B rating you gave based on that one scene?
