it's a little ridiculous, but i'm going to refer to myself in the third person.

shu thinks the boy can be a meanie sometimes. particularly when he makes her stretch her aching muscles and shakes her sore shoulders in full awareness that she is in pain from a previous day of snowboarding.

but she loved every bit of yesterday and is very glad that the boy showed her how to carve and turn.

so i guess that makes up for the 'meanness' in the morning.
