one of the biggest problems about watching the world cup in the US is that

1) when your team wins, and you excitedly talk to people back home, most of them are headed off to bed because its late on that side of the world

2) when you talk to the americans here, they don't really care because for some strange reason, soccer is not their cup of tea. even if it is the most popular and accessible sport on the planet

3) when the team you support happens to be a European team, and when you watch the match with your South American classmates AND when your team trounces a South American team.... there is nobody to celebrate with you and you have to follow up each cheer and scream with a sheepish "sorry sorry"

oh well.

GERMANY FTW!
