lunching adventures

it's raining buckets of water today. so seeking shelter, i decide to try out this lebanese restaurant. it's also one of the few least packed places at the moment.

i get to the counter and i'm about to order my wrap, when the server turns to me and with a pleasant smile, she asks

"m'am would you like some HOMOS?"

she actually means "hummus".

i can't help but blink at what she says and for a moment i'm not sure how to respond.
i spend lunch time messaging my friends on what has just transpired.
