why, this is music to my ears

From The Straits Times, 20 July 2005

"WASHINGTON - DARK chocolate can not only soothe your soul but also lower blood pressure as well, researchers reported on Monday.

Their study, published by the American Heart Association, joins a growing body of research that shows compounds found in chocolate called flavonoids can help the blood vessels work more smoothly, reducing the risk of heart disease.

'This is one of the first clinical trials to look specifically at dark chocolate's effect on lowering blood pressure among people with hypertension,' said Dr Jeffrey Blumberg of Tufts University in Boston, who led the study.

'This study suggests that cocoa flavonoids appear to have benefits on vascular function and glucose sensitivity.'"

so give me coffee and tv, plus plenty of dark chocolate to compliment, please

i shall start improving my health then... with some nice dark chocolates from mark and spencers that are carefully stored in the fridge at home.
