vancouver calling

DJ messaged me on msn in the wee hours of a wednesday morning, my last full day in singapore. in a funny, weird way, it was like vancouver, ubc, was beckoning me again

i haven't heard that nickname in a long time.


after feeling restless the past few days and possibly mourning more than necessary about leaving singapore, i realize that despite me feeling that i'm always dropping everything and jetting off to another place, it's not really just another place but it's home to me as well.

so yeah, i'm going home again, to my old roommate hannah and my new roommate alana. to friends who i've laughed, cried and agonized over cooking with.
to a possible year of gymming at the bird coop with glen and being paranoid androids together.
to working (hopefully) with sarah at the blue chip, serving bad coffee but positively sinful cookies to customers
to tennis games with james , and me trying to desperately improve my game
to navving with the well, navigators
to all the possibilities of living that enticed me to go there in the first place

i'm going to miss my family, channel j, page twel2ve, supper hero identities, my vj tennis buddies, samantha, cmc people and more.

but there's still alot to look forward to.
yes it is time for me to go home.
