who could deny that?

going for a meeting, feeling down,
but having the girl beside you smile and pat you consolingly on the back
doing quirky little actions to cheer you up.
having curtis give the unsaid but much needed massage
thank you.

coming home to a house just brimming with warmth
people concerned with how your day went
a very special roomie who listens to me rant and whine.
and three others who just sprinkle life into this place
i'm feeling at home

knowing that across the pacific,
there's someone, some people
who are always thinking of me and keeping me in their prayers.
i am loved. especially by mummy and daddy

the assurance that as i retire for the night,
there's a God who's interested in more than my welfare but my growth, His purpose in me.
