singapore to cambodia to vietnam and back.
it was an experience, a total ride, an eye opener.
but it wasn't an easy trip.
i mean cambodia and vietnam ain't no disneyland. the things i saw, from prison to killing fields to tunnels and just daily life where people exploit and let themselves be exploited in the name of tourism made this a somewhat heavy trip for me.
in short, it felt like a meat market on both sides and it wasn't easy to turn a blind eye as i think i am usually quite adept at doing.
and i'm grateful for that, this current understanding that is.
so what was the best part of this trip?
namely, gladys, hannah and fong. meeting up, reconnecting, waking up to each other everyday and travelling together, i think they showed me alot of grace and i was invited to view a different aspect of their relationships and life.
so thanks for the ride guys, wouldn't have exchanged this trip for disneyland.
and now, i'm going to become corporate rat-ass for 8 weeks, starting 3rd july. from a pay of $1500 to $700. yeech. a lower pay for a government name.
BUT in the mean time,
TENNIS anyone????
i'm seriously craving a game.
