blessed
and richly so.
if i look back on this internship, i look back with joy.
for starters, how many interns get to go play cranium and taboo with their senior officers and assistant heads after work?
these people have looked out for us, made an effort to get to know us; they've joked around and challenged us to foozball matches, given guidance and encouragement when needed, covered our asses during presentations and defended us when really necessary.
i could have been one of the many interns who are just left alone to do their project and have no further interaction with their reporting officers. everything could have been done business-like, professional, without the personal
but i wasn't. and for that i recognize that i have been richly blessed.
in the race to keep up with a hungry, ravenous capitalistic system, fed by the economic foot soldier
i never thought i'd find an economy of mercy.
and you leave a mark in my life. :)
