for someone who is very impatient by nature.
i have surprisingly found people who are very patient with me.

exhibit A: me, james and tennis.
After 4 years and with no great improvement to show. james continues to play tennis with me, and still gives me encouragement and tips on my game (of course, this is interspersed with some mocking and rolling of the eyes, but how could you not when i can hit the ball with a racquet but fail to catch one with my own two hands.)

exhibit B: me, glen and piano.
after giving up on me trying to play guitar whilst he plays the piano. he proceeds to try to get me to play some notes on the piano with him. in doing so, he has to scour over his scores after numerous tries to find easier and easier sheet music. this basically translate into me playing one note per bar with him still telling me which note to press from time to time. i think most people would give up by this time.

for all the things i wish i had learnt when i was younger and was a master of them now.
i have friends who thankfully will indulge me now
