digital love (the non-romantic kind)

some days, i do miss my old roommates. because i do believe in and appreciate gestures and touch.
so when fitting in with new roomies, there is the excitement of widening of your social circle, but also the loss of a familiar welcoming hug.

i think that's when i miss the 4822 chancellor blvd crew, the E1 gage girls, and my msn sudoku rival the most. funny, but for me, good hugs communicate much warmth and assurance. empty hugs are also telling of something else.

but even in the days of supposedly new, i do rejoice when the email comes in and i receive love of a different kind, digital love.
