one day we'll all look back and laugh at how silly and strange we were.
that we were foolish mortals trapped in our trappings, mired in a mud-filled trench we dug for ourselves and stifled by the very roof we built over our heads.

and then we will dance and walk on by, leaving our footprints to fade in the sand as the waves come up to slowly wash away. and this is what it will be, only a fleeting moment in time.


of course, right now, i do feel these assignments were issued only to make me feel and recognise how utterly stupid i am or have been.
