I took a break this morning and ended up watching this bittersweet anime movie that had me bawling at the end. so much for a break!

For those interested, the movie is called 5 centimetres per second. This is the main theme song from the movie. I highly recommend it. The artwork is fantastic and the lighting and scenery really help build the emotions and atmosphere in this story.

So well made MV! I watched this collection of short stories several years ago, but the memory of it has already faded in time, the MV reminds me of the bits of heart tumbling caught in the subtlety of its scenes. I probably have liked the construction of the anime more than the plots that I have left no memory of the stories, but remembered being amazed by how successfully it has snapshot the most touching point that would shock everyone in common, like the flowers blossoming, leaves turning color, city shining in the dark, face lighted in the sight of the beloved, and always the lonesome and lost individuals in the sea of indifferent strangers. But the elements blends naturally into the movie as it developed, easily caught our sentimental self.

咳咳,(chinese sound-like word of clearing throat =) ) speaking of Anime, my favorite animation so far is still Honey and Clover II, available on youtube, easy to digest, but takes time to watch, can't recommand us taking time off at this time. It has reflected the many paradoxes and hardship of the young who newly graduated from college, and I thought it applied to my situations back then, but when I watched it again early this year, it hasn't failed to move me and teach me about the preciousness of life and the friends around, and the ruthlessness of life sometimes could be... generally i favor Jap anime and drama that they are not so completely "soap"`
