a couple of days ago, glen and i settled down for an evening of video games on his sega dreamcast.

the night reiterated the fact that i suck at video games. that's why i took a long time to learn how to play "need for speed" on johnny bravo' computer. and probably why i kept dying when i played half-life with a certain group of boys from my church in singapore.

i need really idiot proof games i think. because when racing, i don't bother to brake. when shooting, i don't necessarily aim. it's like panic attack just fire randomly when someone attacks you. the fastest thumbs win really.

that is why i can NEVER EVER play splinter cell. i would be too impatient.

if anything though, the night brought back memories of a time when stef and i, as kids used to play xmen, virtua cop and daytona on the sega saturn. we both never cared for the hostages that screamed "don't kill me" and would promptly gun them down because they got in our way. we never completed a proper race on daytona because we would veer off the track and chase horses or put our cars in reverse and try to smash each other's vehicle.

huh. maybe i just never got the concept of those games, prefering to create my own rules instead.

still, i realize i have a lot of fond memories when it comes to video games

especially the silly moments like when we annoyed max by racing in mini coopers in grand turismo. man, one lap took a reallllyyy long time.

haha. i remember these videogames. the hostages deserved to die for getting in the way and what's the point in winning a car race if you never ceased the chance to chase horses or crash cars (the rationale for this is if i couldnt win, then neither could you)i had fun shu.thank god youre still a retarded grown up so we can still have fun. :)
